171125-N-AV234-0002PEARL HARBOR (November 25, 2017) US aircraft carrier USS Nimitz arrives at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The Nimitz and its strike group are returning from a regularly scheduled deployment to the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Nimitz Strike Group is part of U.S. 3rd Fleet, which leads naval forces in the Pacific and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary for an effective global Navy.
