A female technician wearing a black hard hat and tan uniform is working on a complex assembly of cables, connectors, and mechanical components, likely part of an aircraft or large industrial system. She is reaching upward with both arms to manipulate or inspect connectors in a densely packed wiring harness. The setting appears to be an indoor maintenance hangar or industrial facility.

A U.S. Airmen with the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron prepares a new conventional rotary launcher for transport in order for it to be installed on a B-52 Stratofortress assigned to the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Nov. 9, 2017. The CRL upgrade was used in support of a new offensive campaign in Afghanistan Nov. 19, 2017. Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) and United States Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A) launched a series of ongoing attacks to hit the Taliban where they are most vulnerable: their revenue streams. Together, Afghan and U.S. forces conducted combined operations to strike drug labs and command-and-control nodes in northern Helmand province. These types of strikes represent the highest level of trust and cooperation between ANDSF and USFOR-A. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Patrick Evenson)
