COMBAT OUTPOST OUELLETTE, Helmand province, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan - Sgt. Todd Cross chisels away at an old track pad in order to replace it with a new one. The Elkridge, Md., native is a section leader with 1st Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division (Forward). His team of Marines is part of the first company of American tanks to roll into Afghanistan.
