U.S Army soldiers get as comfortable
as they can as they prepare to fly a C-17 Globemaster III from the Transit
Center at Manas to their deployed location in Afghanistan April 16. This
onward movement of troops is one of four mission pillars of the Transit
Center. The remaining pillars are airlift, aerial refueling and humanitarian
assistance.
