Redd, the one-year-old orangutan, recently had his habitat updated with the help of retired fire hoses given by Quantico Fire and Emergency Services to the National Zoo. Zoo personnel created more places for Redd to swing and play on, which zoo personnel said will help him further develop his coordination. (Photo courtesy of the National Zoo, Washington, D.C.)
