(Nov. 7, 2017) After reading a resolution that proclaims November as Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month in Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach mayor Will Sessoms and Nick Sharp show off the resolution that was signed by every member of the city council. Nick, a 12-year-old patient at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension 10 years ago and wrote a letter to the city asking for the proclamation to help spread awareness of the disease.
