U.S. Marines hike up a hill to dig fighting holes during a defense training event at the Pohakuloa Training Area on the Island of Hawaii, Oct. 31, 2017. The Marines are with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, and are conducting the defense during Exercise Bougainville II.
