GULF OF TADJOURA, Djibouti (Oct. 25, 2017) Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 1 pilot SeaArk 34-foot patrol boats through the Gulf of Tadjoura, Djibouti, during a joint site survey with members of the Djibouti navy and Djibouti coast guard. CRS-1 is forward deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations and conducts joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
