The image shows a Close-In Weapon System (CIWS), commonly known as 'Phalanx,' mounted on a naval warship and actively firing, as evidenced by the muzzle flash and tracer visible at the barrel tip. The system's distinctive white radome dome is clearly visible atop the weapon mount. The ship's superstructure, radar arrays, and antennas are visible in the background against a partly cloudy blue sky.
