Spc. John York, an infantryman and a Tulsa, Okla., native, with Bravo Company, 163rd Combined Arms Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 4th Sustainment Brigade, 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, sets up his M240B machine gun March 29 during pre-mission checks at Contingency Operating Base Kalsu. York and his unit have been conducting convoy escort and security missions in support of Operation New Dawn since November.
