    A C-40 flies on final approach as a KC-10 Extender parked on the ramp is serviced, Oct. 21, 2017, at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. With roughly 3,300 aircraft continuously arriving and departing on a monthly basis, Travis AFB handles more cargo and passenger traffic than any other military air terminal in the United States.
