171025-N-PM250-0086 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 25, 2017) Marines and a Sailor discuss loading procedures for Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) 54 aboard the Whidbey Island class amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44). Gunston Hall is underway in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, NATO, allied and partner nations are a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
