U.S. Army Private 2nd Class Michael Bailey, a power line distribution specialist assigned to Delta Company, 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power), Cranston, RI, cuts loose branches to clear out a road to repair damaged power lines in Río Grande, Puerto Rico, Oct. 25, 2017. Hurricane Maria formed in the Atlantic Ocean and affected islands in the Caribbean Sea, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. U.S. military assets supported FEMA as well as state and local authorities in rescue and relief efforts.
