An F-15E Strike Eagle from the 492nd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron is prepared by maintainers assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron prior to takeoff October 9, 2017 in Southwest Asia. The 492nd EFS flew thousands of sorties night and day for the last six months, providing close-air support for Coalition ground forces and neutralizing Islamic State forces in the region.
