GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 20, 2017) Royal Navy Sub-Lieutenant Alfred Pace, and U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Jerick Sablan, from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, check navigational bearings aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86). Shoup is participating in the trilateral Intrepid Sentinel Exercise with French Navy Cassard-class anti-air destroyer FS Jean Bart (D 615) and Royal Navy frigate HMS Monmouth (F 235).
