A person is lying on a stretcher/gurney with a head bandage and a triage tag attached to their clothing. A medical provider wearing blue latex gloves and camouflage uniform is attending to the patient. This appears to be a military medical triage scenario, possibly a training exercise or actual casualty care.

Mock earthquake casualty, Sgt. Jose Ramirez, a transportation operator in the 420th Chemical Battalion, receives treatment during a joint exercise with the Washington National Guard, Summit Pacific Medical Center and Grays Harbor County, October 14, 2017. The simulated earthquake affected the Vertellus chemical plant in Elma, Washington, resulting in patients suffering from chemical contamination, giving Summit Pacific Hospital staff the opportunity to refine their decontamination skills. Hospital staff worked closely with Washington National Guard members to train on response and decontamination techniques in the event of a chemical disaster.
