Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Gregorio Bianchini and Machinist’s Mate 2nd Class Jared Aellis, both search-and-rescue swimmers with the USNS Trenton’s U.S. Navy Military Det., participate in rigid-hull inflatable boat training. Trenton (T-EPF 5) is a Military Sealift Command spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport vessel. The MILDET helps foster theater security cooperation, preserve freedom of the seas, and promote peace and regional stability. Trenton is currently assigned to Commander Naval Forces Europe-Africa and operates in the U.S. Navy’s 6th Fleet Area of Operations.
