The 36th Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, Gen. James C. McConville, emphasizes a point while discussing the importance of all Army Soldiers, whether they members of the active component, the Reserve, or the National Guard, maintaining a combat-ready standard. The discussion took place during a breakfast between McConville and selected Soldiers, Oct. 16, 2017, on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. McConville was agreeing with Army Sgt. Sabrina Bregenzer, a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, U.S. Army Central, who had brought up the difference in training opportunities between some National Guard Soldiers and their activity duty counterparts.
