A dish prepared by Pfc. JC Jimenez, a food service specialists assigned to 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, awaits judgment during the installation’s culinary team tryouts at the Culinary Arts Training Center on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., October 17, 2017. The competition was open to both Soldiers and Airmen on the installation. The culinary team will go on to compete at the Annual Military Culinary Arts Competitive Training Event at Ft. Lee, Virginia in March 2018.
