Members of the Virgin Islands National Guard travel by barge from the island of St. Thomas for the island of St. John to provide tarps, non-perishable food, water, hygiene products and other specialty items to hurricane survivors in need. St. Thomas and St. John were devastated by both Hurricanes Irma and Maria. In addition to providing relief at points of distribution, National Guard engineers and MPs also provide support on roadways.
