Barbers at Royalty Cuts, a barbershop on the island of St. Croix Virgin Islands use a generator in order to remain open for business post-Hurricane Maria. In reference to the joint patrols being done by both Virgin Islands police and National Guard MPs, ”They’re working hard to keep us safe. I’m not really hearing about anybody getting killed. I’m not really hearing about no fatal shootings. So they’re doing their jobs,” said Jason Archibald, an employee.
