DAHLGREN, Va. (Oct. 2, 2017) - British Royal Navy First Sea Lord Adm. Sir Philip Jones holds a shadow box he received from Dr. Chris Lloyd, High Energy Laser Lethality lead at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), as the two shake hands. This presentation of the shadow box - which contains steel and copper metal samples irradiated and penetrated in NSWCDD's High Energy Laser Lethality laboratory - occurred moments before the 1SL witnessed a live test demonstration.
