An Afghan Air Force UH-60A Black Hawk hovers over the flightline Oct. 3, 2017, at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Six Afghan Mi-17 pilots have begun pilot training for the UH-60 and are expected to fly the helicopter by the end of the year. The Black Hawk is part of an ongoing modernization effort for the growing AAF and will replace the aging Mi-17 platform. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Alexander W. Riedel)
