U.S. Marines and Navy Sailors with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), evaluate the quantity of diesel fuel needed for the generators of Humacao Hospital during a reassessment of medical and operational needs previously requested as part of the relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Maria in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Oct. 1, 2017. The 26th MEU is supporting Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
