Douglas Chad McIntosh, a Chaplain assigned to NMCP, pass the communion bread to each other during Protestant Services aboard the Military Sealift Command's hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) as it prepares for humanitarian operations in Puerto Rico. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the head federal agency in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
