    New York National Guard

    A C-17 flown by the New York Air National Guard’s 105th Airlift Wing from Newburgh arrives at Islip MacArthur Airport, N.Y. September 28, 2017 to load helicopters and equipment from the New York Army National Guard’s 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, based in Ronkonkoma, N.Y. The New York National Guard deployed four Blackhawks and 60 aircrew and ground support personnel to Puerto Rico in support of recovery operations for the Puerto Rico National Guard. The Soldiers are part of more than 600 New York National Guard Soldiers and Airmen on duty for the response to Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Photo by Capt.
