DJIBOUTI, Africa – Marines with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Logistics Combat Element prepare to transport potable water during Alligator Dagger, Sept. 10, 2017. Combat Logistics Battalion 15 purified and transported at least 3,000 gallons of water to multiple ranges during Alligator Dagger. As a Task Force 51/5 asset, 15th MEU-America Amphibious Ready Group provides CENTCOM unmatched crisis response, theater security cooperation and integrated special operations support fostering cooperative military solutions at the operational and tactical levels in the world’s most challenging regions. Alligator Dagger is the largest regional amphibious combat rehearsal designed to integrate and synchronize capabilities that are available to U.S. Central Command both afloat and ashore.
