An AV-8B Harrier II hovers over the flight line, demonstrating some of the aircraft’s capabilities during the 2017 Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Air Show at MCAS Miramar, Calif., Sept. 23. The theme for the air show is “A Salute to Vietnam Veterans” and features several performances and displays recognizing the sacrifices of Vietnam veterans. It also provides visitors the opportunity to see Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Army and civilian aircraft spanning 70 years as well as allows for guests to take a firsthand look at Marine Corps tactical equipment.
