MEDITERANEAN SEA (Sept. 14, 2017) A Submarine Rescue Vehicle (SRV) is launched from the SD Northern River during NATO submarine escape and rescue exercise Dynamic Monarch. This SRV is part of the NATO Rescue Submarine System (NSRS) owned jointly by France, Norway and United Kingdom. NSRS is available to be deployed anywhere in the world within 72 hours.
