A Dutch airman cleans the landing apparatus on an F-16A fighter jet at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Mar. 17. The 1st Royal Netherlands Air Task Force flies and maintains four F-16s at KAF. The airman said he felt it was his duty to keep the aircraft clean even if the dirt and grease didn't effect mission capabilities.
