U.S. Air Force Maj. Ben L. Simerman II (right), the chief of safety with the 130th Airlift Wing, pins the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal on U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Kevan Williams, a safety technician with the 130th AW, Sept. 16, 2017. The MOVSM is awarded to members of the Armed Forces of the United States who performed outstanding volunteer community service of a sustained, direct and consequential nature. Williams was recognized for his outreach ministries through his church Living Faith of Marmet, West Virginia where he and church members have volunteered their time and resources and set up a clothing pantry for local youth providing free hair cuts and new clothes for school.
