(Left) Colonel Sekou Karega, commanding officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., welcomes the audience to the grand reopening of the LINKS offices in building 126 behind the Marine Memorial Chapel Sept. 14. The Lifestyle, Insights, Networking, Knowledge and Skills Center offers classes and resources for family members of Marines in how to adapt and cope with the Marine Corps lifestyle. LINKS program administrator Ashley Ignatz (standing) said the LINKS program has been on base for more than seven years and is unique to similar programs in that it also includes the families of Army personnel stationed aboard base. Ignatz also said the offices of the Marine Corps Family Teambuilding section have relocated to the same building.
