Sgt. 1st Class Victor Michaud, the detachment sergeant for the 203rd Transportation Detachment, removes the ropes that hold his unit’s vessel that Logistic Support Vessel-8 to the pier as they prepare for their deployment to Kuwait. The 203rd TC Det. will be assist in the reallocation of equipment from Iraq to Afghanistan. Army watercraft of the 203rd TC Det. are equipped, manned and operated by the Army Reserve. The unit falls under the 359th Transportation Battalion out of Fort Eustis, Va.
