Sgt. Alexander Roysden, Company A, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, observes an Iraqi instructor coaching Iraqi soldiers of 4th Battalion, 21st Brigade, 5th Iraqi Army Division through a live fire exercise at Kirkush Military Training Base, Iraq, March 9. As U.S. forces prepare to transition the training base to IA control, Iraqi instructors are leading their own training courses, while U.S. troops take a supervisory role. The "Wolfhound" soldiers of 1st Bn., 27th Inf. Regt., are part of the 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, currently serving with U.S. Division-North in support of Operation New Dawn.
