PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - An Airmen of the 433rd Air Lift Wing Air Force Reserve Command, stands ready to unload a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy military aircraft, Sept. 11 at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. The C-5 was used to transport soldiers and equipment of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) out of Fort Campbell, Ky. to support possible Hurricane Irma relief efforts. While the division has not received orders to deploy personnel or equipment to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Support of civil Authorities mission, it remains ready to respond to this or any contingency.
