Master Chief Electrician’s Mate (Nuclear) Zach Montello reads the Patriot Day Proclamation to members of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy staff at 8:46 a.m. on the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks before observing a moment of silence. Patriot Day is observed as a day of National Service and Remembrance each year in memory of all those who lost their lives, and those who in return gathered in service, because of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
