Two CH-47 Chinook tandem-rotor military helicopters are positioned side by side at the entrance of a large military hangar. The helicopters appear to be in an olive-drab/army green color scheme, with personnel visible around them. The hangar features a steel-frame structure with green-tinted lighting and opens onto a wet tarmac under an overcast sky.

U.S. Army Soldiers from the Ohio National Guard’s 3-238th General Aviation Support Battalion, perform routine maintenance on two Boeing CH-47F Chinook aircraft at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, S.C., before continuing on to Naval Air Station Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida as part of a response to Hurricane Irma, Sept. 12, 2017. McEntire JNGB served as a transition point for the unit to refuel before heading on to Florida. Both aircraft recently responded to the damage and flooding in Texas caused by Hurricane Harvey by moving supplies and personnel. Hurricane Irma peaked as a Category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean and devastated the Florida coast. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Airman Megan Floyd)
