Lance Weiskamp, a mortarman from Washburn, Iowa, with Company B, 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, prepares to drop a .60mm mortar round into the mortar tube March 3 at Forward Operating Base Torkham Gate, Afghanistan. Weiskamp and the other mortars soldiers were practicing registering rounds at Torkham Gate. Company B is a part of the 34th Infantry Division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team and plays a part in maintaining security along the Pakistan border of Afghanistan.
