ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 11, 2017) Marine Corps Cpl. Thomas Chaffin, assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461, prepares uniforms for insect repellant treatment in preparation for humanitarian relief efforts, in the lower vehicle stowage of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). The preparations ensure Iwo Jima is ready to respond to any requests to bolster Northern Command's support of Federal Emergency Management Agency's assistance to federal, state and local authorities' ongoing relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
