Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division stabilize an M1 Abrams battle tank during an equipment offload in preparation for Exercise Bright Star 2017. Exercise Bright Star 2017 is a bilateral U.S. Central Command command-post exercise, field training exercise and senior leader seminar, held with the Arab Republic of Egypt. Participation strengthens military-to-military relationships between U.S. and Egyptian forces in the Central Command area of responsibility.
