U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 4 Edwin Perez-Montalvo salutes his son 2nd Lt. Juan Jose Perez-Montalvo during a retirement ceremony at the AMC Headquarters in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, Sept. 8, 2017. Warrant Officer Perez-Montalvo retired from the Army after 29 years of service. He served in a multitude of assignments at Fort Drum, Fort Campbell, Fort Leonard Wood and Redstone Arsenal. Since 2014, he provided direct support to the command group on human resources, records and actions. His son recently commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
