Pvt. Devonne Lee, a Texas native serving with the 112th Cavalry Regiment, Texas National Guard, decompresses after a day's work of delivering supplies, by surfing on his digital device at the First Baptist Church in Port Neches, Texas, Sept. 8, 2017. Since Hurricane Harvey carved it's destructive path through the state, several Texas NG units were given room and board during their efforts to get essential supplies to storm victims. Other civilian volunteers out of Louisiana from the Cajun Army came and used the church's facilities as well, demonstrating the joint nature of the relief effort.
"The people of the First Baptist Church as well as the entire Port Neches community have been more than hospitable and generous," said 2nd Lt. Daniel Miller, a cavalry scout serving with the 112th. "The ability to have a comfortable place to wind down after working all day was great for morale."
