The New York Army National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division opened an historical exhibit highlighting a "Century of Service" September 8, 2017 to commemorate the creation of the division in 1917 for service in WWI. The exhibit, on display in the division headquarters armory in Troy, N.Y., highlights the service of the Rainbow Division in WWI, WWII, 9/11 and Operation Iraqi Freedom. The display was created as a partnership between the division headquarters, the New York State Military Museum and the Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation. Photo by retired Maj.
