Sgt. Derek Briscoe, 24, 727th Military Police Detachment, stops at the Area 51 MWR facility at Camp Victory to see Kansas City Chiefs' guard Will Shields. Shields joined Alge Crumpler, Shelton Quarles and Ben Watson on a 12-day trek through the Middle East, made possible by USO. Briscoe, a canine handler from Daytona Beach, Fla., said he plans on showing the mementos to his 2-year-old son when he gets older.
