Army Reserve nurse anesthetist, Col. Sheila McCarley was promoted to Colonel during an early morning promotion ceremony in the post-anesthesia care unit at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Aug. 31. After 27 years of service, several deployments and three college degrees paid for through Army education assistance, McCarley participated in her first-ever promotion ceremony.
