Cupp, a service and recovery sergeant from Albertville, Ala., assigned to Forward Support Company G, 2nd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, Task Force Balls, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, ground guides a wrecker back toward a Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicle with a flat tire during a recent convoy in eastern Afghanistan Feb. 28. The Soldiers traveled on what The New York Times dubbed as one of the most dangerous roads in Afghanistan.
