ANSBACH, Germany - - U.S. Army Sgt. Philip Ventimiglia and his canine assigned to 131st Military Working Dog Detachment Ansbach, Military Working Dog (MWD), conduct hoist training into a UH-60 Black Hawk medical helicopter at Oberdachstetten Local Training Area (LTA), Frankonia, Aug. 28, 2017. The training was conducted to familiarize Soldiers and their working dogs with air medical evacuation procedures. The Oberdachstetten LTA is one of several LTAs operated by the Training Support Activity Europe, providing U.S. Army Europe and allied Soldiers with the facilities to perform rigorous, realistic and relevant home-station training to boost their combat readiness.
