SOUTH GOLBURN ISLAND, Australia – U.S. Marine Maj. Luke Adkins, mission commander for Exercise Crocodile Strike, meets with an elder from the Village of Warruwi during a welcome to country ceremony, Aug. 22, 2017. Exercise Crocodile Strike is a bilateral Marine Rotational Force Darwin and Australian Defence Force training activity focused on humanitarian assistance, disaster relief training and community assistance efforts. The exercise was held in the Village of Warruwi, South Goulburn Island, a remote location off the northern coast of Australia.
