The Fort McCoy, Wis., garrison flag pole is silhouetted by the sun at approximately 1:11 p.m. Aug. 21, 2017, during a solar eclipse that took place. Wisconsin only received a partial eclipse that caused the sun to dim on the landscape. People were able to experience a total solar eclipse further south of Wisconsin. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T.
