M. Germaiani, a dairy specialist hired by the Agriculture Department of Kirkuk, demonstrates to local district dairy farmers the proper way to use equipment for micro-dairy production, Feb. 17, 2011. Germaiani poured a local farmer's raw goat milk into a milk pasteurizing machine at the micro-dairy near Kirkuk. Once pasteurized, the milk is turned into yogurt then transferred to a filling machine where it's placed into sealed containers. The yogurt is then stored in a refrigerator until distributed to the local markets in the city of Kirkuk.
